The Greater Accra Supporters Chief for Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Nana Kwame Dankwah has urged gaffer of the club Zdravko Lugarusic to vary his tactics when they lock horns with Medeama SC later today in their Ghana Premier League week 9 clash.
The game which comes off at the Tarkwa T&A Park is expected to produce fire works as the home-side are bent on breaking a long standing jinx of not being able to triumph over the Porcupine Warriors at home and the supporters leader holds that this can happen if the Croatian tactician departs from his usual system of parking too many defenders in his team.
Speaking on Happy FM’s Anopa Bosuo Sports, the maverick and avowed Kotoko supporter intimated that if the team was unable to win this game, there will be too much pressure on the supporters leadership as well as the management and hence admonished Lugarusic to add more to his the teams over performance so they can scoop a good result from Tarkwa.
“We have to get a good result from this game against Medeama otherwise there will be too much pressure on us the supporters leadership as well as the management of the club and I know that everything has been put in place to ensure that we achieve this feat. I will however plead with lugarusic to vary his tactics because supporters of the club are not happy with the recent performances of the team so a loss against Medeama will be disastrous. He should depart from his usual system of infusing the team with so many defenders and i trust we will win the game.” Nana Kwame said on Happy FM.
