2023 African Games: Ghana’s Janet Mensah qualifies for Women’s 200m final

Ghana’s sprinter Janet Mensah has qualified for the final of the Women’s 200m event at the 2023 African Games.

In the first semifinal race, she finished in a time of 23.83 seconds.

Gambia’s sprinter Bass Bittaye Gina Mariam, who clocked in at 23.42 seconds finished first.

Janet helped Team Ghana secure a bronze medal n the female 4x100m relay event earlier in the competition.

She will compete in the finals scheduled for Friday at 16:30 GMT.
