The Ghana Boxing Federation is confident that Ghana will be dully represented at the upcoming 2024 Olympics Games in Paris, France in the boxing category.

With the 2024 Olympics Games starting in 84 days’ none of the sporting disciplines in Ghana have been able to secure a qualification to the Games thus causing some level of dissatisfaction amongst Ghanaians.

However, Dauda Fuseni, the first Vice president of Ghana Boxing Federation has assured Ghanaians that they (boxing federation) will secure some qualification tickets after the Thailand qualifiers.

Dauda Fuseni told Ohene-Bampoe Brenya on Happy Sports that they are expecting at least two out of the seven boxers they are sending to Thailand to book their qualifications to the Olympics Games in Paris.

“We will be sending 9 boxing to Thailand for the qualifiers and I can assure that we will qualify for the Olympics Games.”

“Not less than 2 out of the 7 will qualify. I don’t want to make huge promises but I know we will get at least two boxers who will qualify,” Dauda Fuseni told Happy FM.
