Ban on noise-making begins May 6

The Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) has confirmed that the ban on drumming and noise-making will take place from Monday, May 6 to Thursday, June 6, 2024.

In a statement signed by the Head of Public Affairs, Gilbert Nii Ankrah, the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) announced that the ban is aimed at halting all noise-making activities within the Ga State.

Treasurers Are Evolving. Their Banks Must Too

The statement emphasized that during the ban period, celebratory events and funerals should be postponed.

Additionally, the statement highlighted that only an authorized task force consisting of AMA personnel, the Ghana Police Service, and representatives from the Traditional Councils will be responsible for enforcing the noise restrictions in the metropolis, with proper identification tags.
