Despite needing only a draw to secure the championship, Hasaacas Ladies went on the offensive. Mukarama Abdulai rose to the occasion, scoring twice in the first half – in the 12th and 26th minutes. Belinda Ofori sealed the win with a powerful strike in the 59th minute.

Hasaacas Ladies finished the Southern Zone campaign atop the table with 39 points, boasting an impressive record of 11 wins, just 1 defeat, and 6 draws in their 18 matches. With this victory, they secure another playoff appearance against the Northern Zone champions, Ampem Darkoa Ladies, who are also the current league holders.

The highly anticipated Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League final will be played on Saturday, June 8th, 2024, at the University of Ghana Stadium. The winner of this clash will have the prestigious honor of representing Ghana at the WAFU Zone B qualifiers for the CAF Women’s Champions League in August.
