Founder and leader of the Movement for Change Alliance, Alan Kyerematen has announced a groundbreaking initiative, “Operation Own Your Business,” aimed at creating a staggering three million job opportunities for Ghana’s youth.

This ambitious plan, part of his Great Transformational Plan (GTP), promises to provide comprehensive government support to all graduates, bridging the gap between education and employment.

In an interview with an Accra-based radio station as part of his tour on Thursday June 27, Mr. Kyerematen outlined his vision to equip all SHS graduates with practical skills through a compulsory apprenticeship and training program, lasting at least six months. This initiative will empower young Ghanaians with the expertise needed to succeed in the workforce.

Furthermore, Alan Kyerematen’s government will offer free training to graduates who opt to join Ghana’s security services, including the police and military.

By providing a clear path to employment and entrepreneurship, Kyerematen believes his Great Transformational Plan will stimulate the enterprise economy, generating jobs and income for Ghanaians, and driving the country’s economic growth.
