Benjamin Azamati and Abdul-Rasheed Saminu qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympics via the World Athletics Ranking System, which concluded on June 30. Azamati, a veteran of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, will be participating in his second Olympic Games. Saminu, making his Olympic debut, will compete in the 200m event, having met the entry standard.

Edwin Gadayi, the 2024 GNPC Fastest Human, will team up with Joseph Paul Amoah, the 200m African Games Gold Medalist, along with Fuseini Ibrahim, Benjamin Azamati, and Isaac Botsio, to compete in the 4x100m relay event.

In swimming, Joselle Mensah will compete in the 50m freestyle, and Harry Stacey will take part in the 100m freestyle events.

The track and field events at the Paris Olympics are scheduled from August 1 to August 11, 2024. Team Ghana will head to Strasbourg on July 7 for a two-week intensive training camp before moving to the Olympic Village in Paris later that month.
