The New Patriotic Party (NPP), has formally introduced the Energy Minister and Member of Parliament for Manhyia South Constituency, Matthew Opoku Prempeh the Asantehen, His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi. During the official introduction ceremony, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo praised Dr. Bawumia’s exceptional qualities and expressed confidence in the ability of the two to secure a resounding victory in the 2024 general elections.

He highlighted Dr. Bawumia’s humility, dedication, and contributions to national progress over the past seven years. President Akufo-Addo also thanked Otumfuo Osei Tutu II for his steadfast support and acknowledged his significant role in the nation’s development. The President urged all party members to unite behind the Bawumia-NAPO ticket, emphasizing the importance of collective effort in achieving victory.

Addressing Otumfuo, the President highlighted NAPO’s credentials, noting his role as the MP for Manhyia South and a minister, selected with the endorsement of Dr. Bawumia and the unanimous approval of the national council.
