The Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has highlighted his “impressive record” of achievements in bringing development to the Northern Region.
Addressing the Chief and elders of Chereponi and Mion as part of his constituency-focused campaign in the North-East region, Dr. Bawumia emphasized his contributions as Vice President under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
He indicated that despite serving as Vice President, he has achieved more for the Northern Region than John Dramani Mahama, who was President but failed to deliver meaningful development to the region. Dr. Bawumia listed various projects and initiatives he has championed, including infrastructure development, healthcare improvements, and economic empowerment programs.
He assured the people of Chereponi that if elected President, he would build on his achievements and bring even more development to the region.
