President Akufo-Addo has revealed that the government’s ambitious Agenda 111 Hospital Projects will generate a significant number of employment opportunities, totaling around 67,000 jobs, once the projects are completed.

He underscored the impact of Agenda 111, noting that each of the hospitals, with a capacity to employ over 100 individuals, demonstrates the project’s potential to drive transformation and create meaningful employment opportunities.

President Akufo-Addo has successfully inaugurated the long-awaited 120-bed Fomena Hospital in the Adansi North District of the Ashanti Region, signaling a major milestone in the government’s flagship Agenda 111 hospital project. This initiative, a hallmark of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration, is poised to revolutionize healthcare access and availability nationwide, bringing quality medical care closer to the people.

While commissioning the Adansi North Hospital in Fomena, Ashanti Region on Wednesday July 17, President Akufo-Addo reaffirmed the government’s dedication to completing the Agenda 111 hospitals. He revealed that each construction site currently employs an average of 120 workers, and upon completion, the hospitals will create a significant number of jobs, 559 in each district hospital, 1,343 in regional hospitals, and 947 in psychiatric hospitals. This translates to a total of 67,635 employment opportunities, demonstrating the project’s substantial impact on job creation.
