The Accra Sports Stadium is set to be lit with the much anticipated Armwrestling National Open Championships on Saturday April 22.
The championship which is billed to start at 8:00am, will seek to get men and women to join the Armwrestling national team which has been christened the Golden Arms.
The Championship is opened to Men and Women between the ages of 18 and 40.
President of the federation, Charles Osei Asibey believes the championship will be very competitive and entertaining with several wonderful prizes up for grabs.
“We’ve put in a lot of work to ensure that the upcoming Armwrestling National Championship is successful. We’re are excited with the enthusiasm and verve that comes with Armwrestling everywhere we’ve had competitions and I’m sure this national championship will create more excitement. I entreat all to register and participate in the open championship because there are several prizes to be won.” Mr. Osei Asibey told HappyGhana.com.
The championship will see the emergence of the national champion.
