The National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s headlining initiative for good governance and fight against corruption, Operation- Recover- All-Loot (ORAL), will be a major funding channel for Ghana’s development says Member of Parliament for North Tongu Constituency, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa.

The ORAL program which was out doored on August 24, 2024 at the NDC manifesto launch in Winneba, Central Region was highlighted within the manifesto as a program to purposely investigate, prosecute and recover proceeds of corruption.

Speaking on sections of the just launched NDC manifesto, Okudzeto Ablakwa indicated that all monies siphoned by government officials from various project budgets and through acts of corruption, when recovered, will be sufficient to fund many development projects proposed by the NDC. “Many look at these brilliant proposals and wonder how John Mahama is going to fund them; Operation Recover All Loot will help us to fund this project a great deal.”

Mr. Ablakwa noted that the ORAL program will be launched promptly under the next administration of the NDC and will ensure that all individuals found culpable of any acts of corruption and embezzlement will be dealt with accordingly. “As we speak, a gentleman called Cary Summers is keeping our six million dollars in America; there are some individuals keeping our 2.4 million dollars in Dubai under a so-called; Skytrain, 2 million dollars, Agyapa 12 million dollars, Pwalugu 11.9 million dollars; we are saying Operation Recover All Loot will retrieve all of these looted funds for national development.” he concluded.
