The Member of Parliament for Akim Abuakwa South in the Eastern Region, Samuel Atta Akyea, has said that Ghana would be fortunate to have a president who abstains from alcohol.

He described Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as a wise and knowledgeable leader capable of guiding the nation towards a brighter future.

Speaking to an enthusiastic crowd in the Eastern Region, Atta Akyea urged Ghanaians to look forward to excellent governance under Dr. Bawumia’s leadership.

He emphasized that Ghana is on the verge of having a president who is not only an economist but also a calm and wise individual who does not consume alcohol.

“Ghana is blessed to have an economist who is calm and knowledgeable man and a wise man who does not drink, “he stated.
