The Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East, Mavis Hawa Koomson, has appealed to residents of Kasoa to maintain peace before, during, and after the December elections. This, she believes, will create a conducive environment for the development of Kasoa.

Speaking during a visit by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), to the Awutu Senya East constituency on Monday September 2, Hawa Koomson highlighted the numerous developmental projects undertaken by the NPP government, including the introduction of Free Senior High School. She noted that this initiative has greatly benefited the people of Kasoa.

Hawa Koomson emphasized that, prior to the introduction of Free SHS, she used her MP’s Common Fund to pay school fees for her constituents. However, with the introduction of Free SHS, she has now allocated those funds to other developmental projects.

To ensure the NPP government wins the December polls and continues its good work, Hawa Koomson stressed the need for peace in Kasoa before, during, and after the elections. She assured the residents that, as their MP, she is committed to maintaining peace and is willing to take the necessary steps to achieve it.

Hawa Koomson also mentioned her efforts to promote peace, including a recent Peace Dialogue she organized for all political party Parliamentary Candidates in Awutu Senya East. Unfortunately, only the GUM candidate attended. She cited her own example of keeping quiet when her son was stabbed, prioritizing peace above all else.

She urged the people of Kasoa to cherish peace and vote for the NPP to ensure more developmental projects and continued progress.
