Ghana Premier League giants, Accra Hearts of Oak has urged supporters to dismiss reports indicating that coach Aboubakar Ouattara has been given a five game ultimatum to save his job.

Coach Ouattara was reported to have been given a five game ultimatum to save his job after Hearts of Oak’s 1-0 defeat in the opening game of the 2024/2025 Ghana Premier League.

However, Hearts of Oak in a statement sighted by Happy Sports said no such decision has been taken by Hearts of Oak and they need their entire football community to disregard such reports.

“The management of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club PLC would like to emphasize and notify all of our stakeholders and the general public that reports making rounds on some media outlets that head coach Aboubakar Ouattara has been given a 5-match ultimatum is entirely false and fabricated and should therefore be disregarded as such,” part of the statement read.

Hearts of Oak further stated that the management and the supporters’ leadership of the club are friendly behind coach Ouattara as they firmly believe that he will turn things around.
