Asante Kotoko agile goalkeeper Felix Annan will miss the Porcupine Warriors’ upcoming FA Cup round of 64 tie with Bekwai Youth FC on Sunday due to injury.
The Porcupine faithful have been rocked by the news that their safest pair hands will be out for some days with a shoulder injury.
According to a member of the club’s Medical Team, Gabriel Ofori Adjei, the 23-year old played through the pain barrier in their week 12 1-0 loss to Wa All Stars last Sunday.
“He played with some amount of pain against Wa All Stars. We assessed him after our return and found out that, he needed to sit out for some days to allow complete healing since there wasn’t any breakage of the bone.”
He has joined shot stopper Ernest Sowah in the treatment room.
Annan has featured for the club in all their 12 league matches.
