NPP challenges NDC to provide evidence of voters' register fraud

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has dared the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to produce evidence supporting their claims of fraud in the 2024 voters’ register. This development follows nationwide protests by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) questioning the Electoral Commission’s(EC) voters’ register credibility and demanding a forensic audit.

At a press conference on Thursday September 19, NPP General Secretary Justin Frimpong Kodua stated that despite the EC’s request for evidence during a meeting with the NDC on September 6, the NDC has failed to provide any proof. He emphasized that the NDC’s failure to provide evidence undermines their credibility.

“The NDC had a meeting with the EC on September 6, 2024, and were asked to provide evidence to support their claims. However, as of today, they have failed to produce a single shred of evidence,” he said

Kodua criticized the NDC’s history of baseless allegations, citing their inability to provide evidence in court after the 2020 elections. He urged the public to disregard the NDC’s claims and allow the Electoral Commission to ensure peaceful elections.
