Chief Executive Officer of the Atta Mills Institute and former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Koku Anyidoho has criticized John Dramani Mahama’s policies as confusing and unclear. Anyidoho claims Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential candidate, has been consistent with his policies, unlike Mahama, whom he calls “confused.”

He makes comparisons between Dr. Bawumia and the late President John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills, praising their visionary and consistent policies. He cites Atta Mills’ “Better Ghana Agenda Policy” from 2006-2008 as an example of clear and consistent messaging.

In contrast, Anyidoho argues that Mahama’s NDC struggles to explain their own 24-hour economy policy, with party executives offering conflicting interpretations. He points to Mahama’s mention of a 24-hour night club policy during the party’s manifesto launch as further evidence of confusion.

“Dr. Bawumia remains consistent on at least digitalization, and all over when you talk to NPP people they are consistent when it comes to their message but come to our side, just one single 24-hour economy policy we’re offering conflicting interpretations,” he said.

Anyidoho emphasizes Dr. Bawumia’s digitalization agenda as a cohesive and well-articulated vision, highlighting the contrast between Dr. Bawumia’s consistency and Mahama’s policy ambiguity.
