Alan promises to create 100,000 internet hotspots nationwide

Presidential Candidate for the Alliance for Revolutionary Change, Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten, has pledged that his government will create a 100,000 hotspots at vantage point nationwide, providing free satellite internet connectivity to Ghanaians.

Speaking during the Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) Ghana Evening Encounter on Tuesday October 1st, 2024, the Leader of Alliance for Revolutionary Change disclosed that this promise was part of his digitalization initiatives as outlined his Great Transformational Plan (GTP).

As part of the Afranfranto Digital Revolution, this 100,000 hotspots connectivity will improve the country’s digitalization system.

‘’In this regard an Alan government will create 100,000 hotspots at vantage point throughout the country, and this will provide free satellite internet connectivity for ordinary Ghanaians’’

He believes that, this when implemented will reduce the cost of internet purchase among the youth ‘’If you know the cost of data, you will appreciate this policy that I am talking about’’.
