Movement for Change’s Director of Special Duties, Hopeson Adorye has emphasized that Alan Kyerematen’s vision for the country aligns perfectly with the aspirations of the people of the Volta Region.

According to him, Mr. Kyerematen has declared on numerous occasions his commitment to being a father figure for the people of the Volta Region especially following the passing of former President Jerry John Rawlings, a sentiment that resonates deeply with the chiefs and residents who see Mr. Kyerematen as the one to carry forward Rawlings’ legacy.

Alan Kyerematen’s Movement for Change has been gaining momentum in the Volta Region as chiefs, grassroot communities, and the youth rally behind his Great Transformational Plan (GTP) for a better Ghana.

The campaign, led by Mr. Adorye a native of the region, has made significant strides, drawing strong support for Mr. Kyerematen.

In Mepe, the campaign received a warm reception, a reflection of the admiration many in the Volta Region have for Mr. Kyerematen. According to the team, despite his absence from this recent tour, the excitement and support for him were evident, signifying hope and goodwill for the Afrafranto Alliance. Hopeson Adorye reiterated that Alan Kyerematen’s vision is in tune with the hopes of the region’s people, many of whom view him as a worthy successor to Rawlings’ legacy.

A visit to the palace of Manklao Torgbi Korsi Nego was particularly meaningful, especially in light of the recent Akosombo Dam spillage. The chief expressed his gratitude for Mr. Kyerematen’s prompt response in providing relief to affected communities, marking him as the first political leader to do so. The chief’s acknowledgment highlighted the practical compassion that Alan Kyerematen brings to his leadership, further cementing his bond with the region.

In Vume, the enthusiasm continued to build as Hopeson Adorye announced that Mr. Kyerematen would be visiting the community in the coming weeks. He emphasized that the campaign is not just about political posturing but about creating a future in collaboration with the people. The youth, in particular, are eager to hear directly from Alan Kyerematen, recognizing that he holds the potential to create jobs and opportunities for them.

The Afrafranto Caravan Tour’s direct engagement with chiefs, youth, and citizens has injected fresh energy into the region. The campaign’s approach focuses on understanding the needs of the people and delivering tangible results, contrasting with the usual political promises. As a result, the Volta Region, traditionally seen as a stronghold for political opponents, is beginning to call for change, with many viewing Alan Kyerematen as the answer.

As the Caravan Tour progresses, Mr. Kyerematen’s support in the Volta Region continues to grow. Chiefs and grassroots communities are increasingly backing the Afrafranto Alliance, and this early wave of support is seen as just the start. With more stops planned throughout the region, the Alliance is determined to solidify its position and demonstrate that Mr. Kyerematen is the leader capable of transforming Ghana.
