Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has revealed that midfielder Thomas Partey is fit for their upcoming Premier League game against Bournemouth.

The Gunners on Saturday, October 18, 2024, will be hosted by Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium as they continue their chase for a Premier League title to end the 20-year wait.

Speaking at the pre-match conference, Mikel Arteta said Thomas Partey who missed the international break assignment due to injuries is now fit and expected to feature in the game at the Vitality Stadium.

“Thomas Partey is fit and ready. For Gabriel Martinelli, same as Havertz; we will decide today. Ben White, Timber and Zinchenko are quite close, we hope to have some positive news,” Mikel Arteta said.

Thomas Partey missed Black Stars’ doubleheader against Sudan in the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifiers due to fitness issues.

The Black Stars without Thomas Partey picked just a point in two games against Sudan and currently are on the brick of missing out on the AFCON for the first time since 2004.
