Happy 98.9FM, Ghana’s No.1 radio station through its socio-political drive, “Happy on Wheels”, has chosen Ledzokuku as the next host to interact with dedicated listeners on Thursday, 31st October 2024.

‘Happy on Wheels’ is an initiative by Happy FM aimed at bringing radio closer to its audience as part of the station’s community engagement objective.

The Ledzokuku edition promises to bring Happy FM’s on air personalities and programs to the doorstep of listeners, traders and residents of Ledzokuku to air their opinions on pressing issues in the community. It is also aimed at calling on policy makers to address specific needs and aspirations of the people in the constituency.

The “Epa Hoa Daben” socio-political show will engage the Municipal Chief Executive of Ledzokuku Municipal Assembly, Mordecai Quarshie, Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku constituency and NDC Parliamentary Candidate Benjamin Ayiku, Minister of Health, Dr. Benard Okoe Boye, the NPP Parliamentary Candidate and some Assembly members in real interviews with residents and traders.

Head of Communication and Marketing at Global Media Alliance Broadcasting Company, Bridget Mensah encouraged indigenes of Ledzokuku to come all out and raise issues of concern when the need arises.

“We are much aware you have a lot of grievances and concerns you will like to be addressed by your authorities that is why we are giving you the platform to have direct engagement with your local leaders and to also indulge in meaningful conversations that would help shape the community and to a large extent the country. We encourage everyone to be very outspoken and the little contribution they make will help us know the exact issues they are confronted with. Come and let us engage with the leaders in your community to know their missions and plans they have for you as leaders in your community. This is an opportunity for you to make the right decision in voting for people to lead you” she mentioned.

As part of efforts to prioritize the health and wellbeing of individuals, Happy 98.9FM in partnership with Rainbow Scientific Herbal Clinic led by Dr. Odotoba and his team, will organize health screening for individuals who will be present at the event. Patrons will get the opportunity to check their blood pressure, full body mass and persons with special needs will be attended to by Dr. Odotola at a fee.

The show will be broadcast live from the Ledzokuku GPRTU Branch on Happy98.9FM and live streamed on HappyFM’s Facebook live stream.
