Ghana’s number one urban and youth radio station, YFM, has officially launched the 2024 edition of the highly anticipated Y Holiday Havoc.

Through the Y Holiday Havoc, YFM will announce a number of partnerships with major festivals, concerts and parties where the station will support with marketing, promotions, ticket sales and on-air talents (Presenters and DJs) to unlock memorable experiences of every activity during the festive season.

Director of Broadcasting of Global Media Alliance Broadcast Company (GMABC), parent company of YFM, reiterated YFM as a force to reckon with in Ghana when it comes to being the go to source for all things entertainment.

“According to the 2023 Ghana Tourism Report, the second highest arrival in December 2023 were Ghanaians living abroad at 33% out of the 125,461 arrivals recorded that month. 76.4% out of arrival participants engaged in a survey were millennials (18 – 39 years) who are glued to YFM on radio and digital.
Additionally, October to December alone recorded 329,490 arrivals representing a 22% YoY increase; a strategic quarter for YFM’s #YholidayHavoc campaign,” he backed his statement with facts.

During the launch, Brown Berry, host of the “Ryse N Shyne” show on YFM, aptly stated that “December in Ghana is a global phenomenon. Everyone talks about the ‘Detty December’, and it all happens on Y Holiday Havoc.”

He also mentioned, “This year, Y Holiday Havoc takes things a step further by becoming the ultimate platform for party goers and event organizers as well.”

YFM is the pulse of Ghana’s young adult scene. Tuning into YFM puts you directly in touch with every young person in the country.

YFM is also the number one urban platform with a massive audience to promote your events. With Y Havoc, brands and event organizers are offered a dedicated following of young adults for the ultimate December experience.

YFM offers a comprehensive promotional package, including on-air mentions, catchy jingles, engaging interviews, and extensive social media promotion.
