Head of Public Relations and Strategy at the Ghana Football Association, Neil Armstrong has said that it is not true that national teams have not been performing well.

According to him, the national U-20 team headed by coach Desmond Offei has made the country proud in the last couple of years but he understands that the Black Stars is the premium brand.

He told the press ay the Black Stars squad announcement on Thursday, November 7, 2024 that they are working around the clock to get the team back to its former glory.

“The U-20s have been making the country smile for the past three years so it is not true that the national teams have been failing but we understand the sentiments when some of these comments are made.”

“This is because the focus is on the Black Stars which is the premium brand so when they fail to perform we generalize it because it is only their games that attract the big crowd,” Neil Armstrong said.
