Sprinter bus Driver dies on the spot in a Accra-Tema Motorway accident

The driver of a sprinter bus with registration number GT 4867-13 reportedly died on the spot on Accra-Tema Motorway.

The accident left many passengers injured while the driver, identified as Isaac Atsu Hanu 42, lost his life on the spot earlier today November 19th 2024.

The Sprinter bus was heading towards Lapaz from Tema Adjei Kojo underbridge.

One of the passengers who survived , Louis Djamgma told the media that the driver attempted to dodge a pothole but lost control of the steering.

The vehicle crossed the median to the other lane veered off the road and crashed into a nearby bush.

National Ambulance Service personnel were at the scene and transported the deceased to the mortuary.
