The National Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye, popularly known as Nana B, has expressed confidence that the party’s presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, will emerge victorious and become the next President of Ghana in the December elections.

Addressing the media at a press conference on Wednesday, November 20, at the NPP headquarters in Accra, Nana B highlighted Dr. Bawumia’s accomplishments as Vice President. He noted that Dr. Bawumia had initiated about 35 projects, surpassing the record of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, John Dramani Mahama, during his tenure as Vice President.

Nana B dismissed the notion that governance should follow an eight-year cycle of alternating power between political parties. He argued that Ghanaians have moved past this mindset and are now focused on voting based on tangible policies rather than rhetoric.

He emphasized that the NPP has well-defined and impactful policies ready for implementation if elected, contrasting this with what he described as the NDC’s vague promise of a “24-hour economy,” which he labeled as mere political talk with no substantial benefit to the nation.

Nana B urged Ghanaians to vote for the NPP, asserting that it is the only party with practical initiatives to drive the country’s development.
