Eric Nkansah wins 2024 Happy Bible Quiz Competition

Happy 98.9FM, Ghana’s leading radio station, successfully concluded its annual Happy Bible Quiz competition with Eric Nkansah emerging winner at a grand finale held at the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Accra Newtown Congregation.

The nine-week competition, which began with thirteen contestants, culminated in an intense final round featuring three outstanding finalists. Eric Nkansah from the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Salvation Congregation claimed the top prize, taking home GHc 20,000 worth of radio airtime, a tabletop fridge, and literature from the Bible Society of Ghana.

Kenneth Daniel from the Deeper Life Church secured second place, receiving a sound system and bible literature from the Bible Society of Ghana. The third-place winner, Moses Asare from the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Accra Newtown congregation, was awarded a blender and bible literature from the Bible Society of Ghana.

Speaking at the event, Happy FM’s Programs Manager, Kwabena Ampong, emphasized the competition’s role in youth development: “Our goal is to inspire a new generation of leaders who will make a positive impact in their communities. This competition doesn’t mark the end but should encourage continued engagement with biblical studies.”

Reverend Titus from the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Accra Newtown, addressed the participants, encouraging them to “continue exploring the scriptures beyond the quiz” and share their faith with others.

The competition, designed to promote spiritual growth, intellectual engagement, and community bonding, drew significant attendance from supporters. The event was marked by an atmosphere of spiritual reverence and competitive excellence.

The 2024 edition of the Happy Bible Quiz was organized in partnership with The Bible Society of Ghana and the Christian Council of Ghana, with Krif Ghana Limited serving as the proud sponsor.
