Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is expected to commission electric buses today, Wednesday November 27, 2024.
The electric buses will begin pilot operations in Accra this week after commissioning.
It is believed the use of electric buses will help reduce the cost of public transportation significantly.
After the commissioning, the pilot of the electric buses will begin on the Adenta-Accra stretch.
Another set of the electric buses which will arrive early next year will be extended to the Ashanti and other regions across the country.
