Voting at the OA station, Nayiri, and Local Court (fire service station) polling stations in the Nandom constituency in the Upper West area are yet to start.

Although election materials arrived and were put up as early as 6:00 am, voting could not begin at 7:am.

In an interview, the first person in the queue, who got to the polling station at 3:00am in the morning, said she was disappointed by the lengthy process.

She threatened to leave the polling station if voting did not commence within 20 minutes.

Officials of the Electoral Commission (EC) have however attributed the delay to the sorting of electoral materials.
