Presidential Candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has appealed to members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to put a stop to the blame game they have started because of the party’s defeat.

According to him, the blame game would only end up destroying the party.

“If you are in pain, don’t start blaming people. Blame game would destroy, let’s come together”.

Speaking to party members from the Klottey Korle constituency who paid a courtesy call on him in the early hours of Tuesday December 10, 2024, Dr. Bawumia mentioned that, though the outcome was not expected, they had to accept the results.

He mentioned that, the party gave the victory away, hence the blame game should be stopped.

“We gave the victory away to the NDC. Their numbers did not increase. This is the time to rebuild the party and stay together! Stop the blame games.”

Dr. Bawumia stated that, the party did the honorable thing to accept defeat and plan ahead for 2028.

‘’We agreed to accept the outcome though that was not the expectation of the party, just as it happened, this is not over’’.

He noted that, this is the time the party needs to reorganize and re strategize for 2028, in unity and togetherness.

‘’Unity is important, let’s stop the blame game and come together. Lets build the party again and by 2028 we will win back power’’.
