We still believe, we won the elections- Baba Sadiq

National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Okaikwei Central, Baba Sadiq Abdulai Abu has reiterated that he won the parliamentary elections in the constituency.

Speaking after the High Court adjourned its ruling on the mandamus application filed by the NPP concerning the constituencies of Tema Central, Okaikwei Central, Techiman South, and Ablekuma North, to Saturday, January 4, 2025, 12 noon, Baba Sadiq mentioned that, if the EC still uses the pink sheets from the 31 polling station, he would be declared winner.

‘’I thought I was going to be disadvantaged, we still stand that if the 31 polling station with the pink sheets that have been given us by the EC is anything to go by we would have won the elections’’.

According to him, he won a number of votes at most strongholds of the NPP.

‘’We’ve won the elections infact, there are some polling stations that the NDC has never won before but this time around we won a number of these polling station. Interestingly whilst everybody is there, then pink sheet shows that you’ve won you come to collation then everything is disrupted, and so that’s the point that we made during the collation before the EC”.
