The Ministry of National security has issued directives prohibiting the operation of drones at the Presidential inaugural ceremony on January 7, 2025.
In a statement dated January 2, 2025, the ministry emphasized that it forbids the operation of drones at the black stars Square and its surrounding areas during the ceremony and it applies to all types of drones including recreational and commercial ones.
The directive seeks to ensure the safety and security of visiting guests, dignitaries and the public.
The ministry said in the statement that it committed to provide a safe and secure environment for the presidential inauguration.
“We entreat all drone operators to cooperate with this directive and respect the security measures”.
