Parliament has passed the Environmental Protection Bill aimed at promoting sustainable development and addressing environmental issues in the country.
During the passing of the bill, the Second Deputy of Speaker, Andrews Asiamah stated that, the Environmental protection Bill is now ready to be passed.
” Hon. members, the Environmental Protection Bill 2024 is now read for the third time and passed.”
The Bill marks the beginning of Ghana’s commitment to fighting for environmental good.
