President John Dramani Mahama has lauded former Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on his earlier concession after his electoral defeat in the 2024 elections.
According to him, Dr. Bawumia’s early concession eased tensions and contributed to the early conclusion of the 2024 electoral contest.
“Your sportsmanship in making an early concession eased tensions and contributed to the early conclusion of the electoral contest. I wish you all the best in your endeavours.”
Speaking during his inaugural ceremony at the independence Square on January 7, 2025, Mr. Mahama extended warm regards to Dr. Bawumia.
“I extend my warmest wishes to H.E. former Vice President, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, it was a gruelling campaign. And we gave it our all”.
