Director-General of the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB), Nana Attobrah Quaicoe has firmly denied allegations that he contacted the Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) Committee to return a parcel of land he allegedly acquired unlawfully.

The allegations, made by Martin Kpebu, a member of the ORAL Committee, suggested that Mr. Quaicoe had agreed to relinquish a state-owned parcel of land in exchange for halting further actions against him.

In a statement issued and signed by the Counsel for Nana Attobrah Quaicoe, Saviour Quarcoo Kudze, the claims were described as “contrived, false, and baseless.” The statement emphasized that Mr. Quaicoe had not engaged with any member of the ORAL Committee, including Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, on matters related to state lands.

The statement further clarified that Mr. Quaicoe does not own or hold any illegally acquired government land, directly refuting Martin Kpebu’s assertion made during his appearance on TV3’s Keypoints program.

“We are instructed to say that, the statement made by Mr. Martin Kpebu on “keypoints”, a television show aired by TV3 and subsequently published by several media outlets are contrived, false and without any basis. Our client has neither contacted nor engaged any member of the ORAL Committee , particularly Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa in relation to any government land, contrary to the claims by Mr. Martin Kpebu, himself a member of the committee,” he stated.

It reaffirmed Mr. Quaicoe’s commitment to transparency and adherence to legal procedures in all his dealings, dismissing the accusations as unfounded efforts to damage his reputation.
