The Koforidua High Court has issued a substituted service order to Frank Annoh-Dompreh, Member of Parliament for Nsawam-Adoagyiri, the Electoral Commission, and the Clerk of Parliament, mandating their appearance before the court in Koforidua.

This action follows unsuccessful attempts to personally serve Annoh-Dompreh with a writ of summons related to an election petition filed by National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate Fummey Selorm Philibert.

The petition challenges the Electoral Commission’s declaration of Annoh-Dompreh as the MP-elect for Nsawam-Adoagyiri.

The court’s order, issued on February 21, 2025, permits the summons to be served through public announcements and postings at various locations, including the High Court, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) office, the Electoral Commission, the police station, the main lorry station, Fawe FM, and selected information centers within the constituency.

This development underscores the ongoing legal proceedings concerning the disputed parliamentary election results in the Nsawam-Adoagyiri constituency.

The court will sit again on March 14, 2025.
