President John Dramani Mahama has revealed that the country’s debt servicing will amount to GHs280 billion cedis, which would comprise GHs 150 billion for domestic debt and GHs 130 billion in external debt servicing.
Delivering his first State of the Nation’s Address, President Mahama highlighted the severe repercussions of Ghana’s debt accumulation and economic mismanagement.
He emphasized the extensive work and sacrifice required to repair the damage caused by these issues.
“The repercussions of the reckless accumulation of debts and economic mismanagement will require extensive work and sacrifice to repair.”
