The Member of Parliament for Esikado-Ketan, Prof. Grace Ayensu Dankwa, has expressed satisfaction with President John Dramani Mahama’s State of the Nation Address, describing it as a clear and promising roadmap for national progress.

She believes the address provided a comprehensive picture of the country’s current state and outlined decisive steps to reset the economy and drive development.

Speaking to happyghana.com, she urged Ghanaians to be optimistic about the future as the president has demonstrated a strong commitment to putting the nation on the right track over the next four years.

Prof. Ayensu Dankwa highlighted the pressing issue of unemployment, particularly in her constituency, and welcomed the president’s plans for a 24-hour economy, which she sees as a crucial step in creating jobs and improving livelihoods.

Addressing concerns about female representation in the new government, she urged Ghanaians to exercise patience, emphasizing that the president is still in the process of forming his administration.

She remains confident that his leadership will ensure inclusivity and fairness.

Recognizing the growing frustration among the youth, she underscored the need for patience and collective support to enable the government fulfill its promises.

She expressed hope that the policies outlined in the address would restore confidence and provide opportunities for young people, who are the future of the nation.
