The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially awarded hosting rights for the TotalEnergies CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations 2025 to the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) and the Egyptian Government.

This decision follows a notification from the Fédération Ivoirienne de Football (FIF) and the Government of Côte d’Ivoire, indicating their inability to host the tournament due to unforeseen circumstances.

Egypt had previously submitted a bid to host the competition and will now step in as the new host nation.

The tournament is scheduled to kick off on Sunday, 27 April 2025, with the final set for Sunday, 18 May 2025.
