Minister of Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa joined the Juapong Muslim community in his constituency, North Tongu as they marked this year’s Eid-Ul-Fitr with a special prayer for Vice President, Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang.

Mr. Okudzeto in a recent post made on his X page expressed his joy in joining the Muslim community, highlighting the spirit of oneness and togetherness amongst Ghanaians. “We must continue to treasure our beautiful national cohesion and admirable inclusivity.”

In the post, he wished for the full recovery of the Vice President. “A major highlight was offering special prayers for the full recovery of our Vice President, Her Excellency Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang who by Allah’s grace is already recovering excellently.”

Vice President Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang was reported ill on Friday, March 28, 2025 and was flowb outside the country for medical treatment. Later reports indicate that the Vice President is recuperating steadily.
