Happy Sports can exclusively confirm that assistant coaches of Ghana’s senior national team, the Black Stars, have gone unpaid for six months, despite their active involvement in recent matches, including the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Sources within the Ghana Football Association (GFA) confirm that the affected coaches, who work under head coach Otto Addo; John Pantsil and Fatawu Dauda have been left in financial limbo despite repeated promises from football authorities to resolve the payment delays.

The GFA is yet to officially comment on the matter. Happy Sports will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as more details emerge.
