Ghanaian legend, Adjoa Bayor has backed the Black Queens to compete strongly in the upcoming 2025 Women’s African Cup of Nations.

According to Adjoa Bayor, the current Black Queens have enough quality in their team to compete with the best of the best like Nigeria, South and Morocco.

Adjoa Bayor told Ohene Bampoe-Brenya on Happy Sports that most of the players in the Black Queens are now competing in Europe like their counterparts on the continent and that clearly confirm his statement that they have quality.

“Now we have players who play in Europe like the Nigerians, South African and Moroccan so we can compete with them fair and square because the quality is evenly spread.”

“I will tell our mothers and fathers that now the world has evolved and women are doing great things in football and sports in general so they shouldn’t prevent their daughters from chasing their dreams,” Adjoa Bayor said on Happy Sports.

The upcoming Women’s African Cup of Nations will be hosted by Morocco in June 2025.
