Tensions have escalated at Baidoo Bonsoe Senior High Technical School in the Ahanta West Municipality, as enraged youth from Agona Ahanta locked up the office and residence of the headmaster, Samuel Ofori Appiah.

The group accused Mr.Ofori Appiah of mismanagement, abuse of office, and embezzlement, claiming he has been selling school property, diverting food meant for students, and imposing unauthorized fees.

They have issued a 24-hour ultimatum to the Western Regional Minister and the Minister of Education, demanding his immediate dismissal.

Additionally, concerns have been raised over the alleged commercialization of the school’s frontage, which has reportedly been turned into a marketplace.

The youth are urging the Ghana Education Service (GES) and the Ministry of Education to intervene and conduct a thorough investigation.
