The Ministry of Health has announced the implementation of additional measures to mitigate the impact of the ongoing strike by the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA).
In a statement released on Tuesday, June 10 and signed by the Head of the Public Relations Unit, Isaac Ofei Baah, the Ministry emphasized its commitment to minimizing the inconvenience caused by the industrial action, which has affected health service delivery nationwide.
The Ministry reassured the public that it had exhausted all appropriate channels to facilitate the smooth approval and implementation of the new Conditions of Service for nurses and midwives.
To address the disruptions in service, the Ministry is encouraging the general public to continue seeking healthcare services at designated health facilities, including those where nursing services remain uninterrupted.

The Ministry reiterated its resolve to ensure that healthcare delivery remains accessible to all Ghanaians during this period of industrial action.
