Awards presentation
The competition featured six talented group contestants representing various communities across Kumasi, including teams from Asewaase, Moshie Zongo, Ayigya Zongo, and Tafo Zongo. Each team demonstrated exceptional skills in preparing traditional Ghanaian dishes including banku, tuo zaafi, jollof rice, and other beloved local favourites, creating an atmosphere of friendly rivalry and cultural celebration.
“We are incredibly proud of the remarkable talent displayed by all our contestants,” said Nathaniel Osei Kuffour, General Manager of YFM Kumasi. “The Salafest Cooking Challenge continues to be a platform that celebrates our rich culinary heritage while bringing communities together. Congratulations to Ayigya Zongo for their outstanding performance and to all participants for making this event truly memorable.”
