While the number of cases is increasing, the GHS maintains that there have been no new deaths and no active hospital admissions related to Mpox.

The GHS continues to urge the public to practice good hygiene, including frequent handwashing, and to avoid close contact with individuals exhibiting symptoms.

They are also actively conducting contact tracing to identify and isolate potential cases to prevent further spread.

Mpox primarily spreads through close contact with infected individuals, prompting health authorities to emphasize the importance of adhering to safety guidelines and seeking prompt medical care if symptoms arise.
