The founder and lead pastor of Heaven Way Church, Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as “Nana Agradaa”, has been convicted by the Circuit Court in Accra on charges of charlatanic advertisement and defrauding by false pretenses.
The case stems from her controversial “money doubling” claims that were widely circulated via media platforms.
The presiding judge, Her Honour Evelyn Asamoah, ordered that a pregnancy test be conducted before sentencing, a procedure typically considered in cases involving female convicts for appropriate judicial processing.
This conviction adds to Nana Agradaa’s long history of legal challenges, following her transformation from a traditional spiritualist to a self-proclaimed evangelist.
Her activities have drawn intense public scrutiny and raised questions about religious fraud and consumer protection in Ghana.
