Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson will on Thursday, July 24, present the 2025 Mid-Year Budget Review to Parliament.

The presentation, required under the Financial Administration Act and Section 28 of the Public Financial Management Act, 2016 (Act 921), will provide an update on the implementation of the national budget and offer projections for the remainder of the year.

This year’s review will outline Ghana’s economic performance in the first half of 2025, with key focus areas expected to include revenue mobilisation, public expenditure, debt servicing, and the broader fiscal outlook.

Dr. Ato Forson is also likely to announce revisions to the government’s fiscal policy in light of current economic realities, while highlighting measures to sustain the country’s economic recovery.

In addition to updates on inflation trends, exchange rate developments, and structural reforms, the Finance Minister is expected to clarify whether revenue targets for the first half of the year have been met and how they align with the government’s annual objectives.
