The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Upper Denkyira West in the Central Region, Isaac Nsiah, has unveiled a focused development agenda aimed at transforming the district’s infrastructure and social services before the end of his tenure.

Speaking during a courtesy visit to the chiefs of Ayanfuri, Mr. Nsiah outlined four key priority areas: road infrastructure, sanitation, education, and healthcare.

He emphasized that improving road networks is critical to unlocking economic growth and facilitating access to markets, schools, and health facilities.

“We are committed to rehabilitating and constructing roads to improve mobility and boost economic activity across the district,” the DCE stated.

In the area of sanitation, Mr. Nsiah promised to intensify efforts to improve hygiene and curb disease outbreaks, noting that clean environments are essential for healthy communities.

On education, he pledged to upgrade school infrastructure, supply teaching and learning materials, and support initiatives that motivate teachers, all aimed at equipping students with the skills needed for national development.

The DCE also addressed the health sector, committing to upgrade health centres, equip them adequately, and enhance service delivery to reduce mortality and improve public health outcomes.

He assured traditional leaders and residents of continued collaboration to ensure that his vision for the district is fully realized.

The Kyidomhene of Ayanfuri, Nana Kwaku Yamoah II, commended the DCE for engaging with traditional authorities and outlining a clear development path.
He urged Mr. Nsiah to remain committed to delivering tangible results that would positively impact the lives of the people.
