A group of NPP youth today, August 14, 2025, picked up presidential nomination forms on behalf of Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum at the party’s national headquarters in Asylum Down, Greater Accra Region.

The delegation, which included enthusiastic supporters from the Bosomtwe constituency, arrived clad in NPP-branded T-shirts bearing Dr. Adutwum’s image, to show strong grassroots support for his presidential ambition.

This development follows the NPP’s official announcement of its presidential primaries, scheduled for Saturday, January 31, 2026.

The date was confirmed during a crucial meeting of the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) held on June 17, 2025.

Speaking to Happy Kaseɛbɔ, some of the supporters expressed unwavering confidence in Dr. Adutwum’s leadership, describing him as the ideal candidate to lead the party into the 2028 general elections.

They praised his tenure as Minister of Education, highlighting landmark achievements such as the implementation of Free Senior High School (Free SHS), expansion of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), and other transformative reforms.

The group is expected to proceed to Dr. Adutwum’s residence later today to formally present the nomination forms and affirm their support for his candidacy.
